If you've ever had that "there must be more than this to life" feeling but not
known exactly what your best life looks like or how to achieve it, This Is It is for you.

In his refreshing tour de force, Chris Colbert cuts through the self-help clutter with a
buzz saw and delivers a slightly whimsical but completely actionable wallop of the truth
about why so many of us humans pretty much waste the lives we are given and what
exactly we can do about it. It's a concise and compelling distillation of the observations
and insights of the greatest philosophers and psychologists since the ancient times,
delivered in a no holds barred and frothy fashion that is guaranteed to make you pause,
think and maybe even act in order to get out of the bucket of stuck you're in.
In seven short and simple chapters you'll discover how to:
 make a commitment to change and actually stick to it
 determine the point of your life journey
 create an actionable map to guide you on your way
 love your true self, fully and unconditionally
 find your tribe--the people best equipped to help you
 strive for work-life integration to align what you do for a living with who you are
 make better choices by choosing courage over fear
You won't find any sugar-coating in here; Colbert readily admits that the journey he
proposes has both downs and ups. So, get ready to do lots of looking in the mirror and
serious soul-searching--but know that the rewards are oh so worth it. It is your only life
after all.

About the Author
Colbert, Chris: - Chris Colbert was the Managing Director of the Harvard Innovation Labs, where he worked with Harvard students and alumni on how to turn nascent ideas into viable businesses. Since his dysfunctional childhood growing up as the son of a four-star admiral and being raised by an English nanny and a gaggle of Filipino stewards (yes, you read that right), Chris has spent his life trying to understand humans, including himself. He learned the hard way about how to look the truth in the mirror and then do something about it. Fear was his friend, intimacy was his enemy. From there he went on to run a bunch of companies, fail at a bunch of relationships, and ultimate end up as a born- again everything, running the day to day of the Harvard Innovation Labs and writing his ass off. But that's all drivel. You should read the book.
